Eating Alabama follows a Southern couple as they set out to eat seasonally and locally, just like their grandparents used to do. But they soon realize how much the food system has changed since their families left the farm.
There's another twist on that theme in this week's Long Story Short episode featuring the Haili sisters of Haili's Hawaiian Foods. They remember childhood days of going with their family to catch and harvest seafood for their restaurant.
