Today the PBS Hawaii Board of Directors welcomed Mary Ann Manahan of Kalihi to her first meeting as a director. She told the Board that as an immigrant to the United States (2005), she is honored to have the opportunity to serve and she looks forward to contributing.
Born and raised in the Philippines, Mary Ann is a project coordinator for the Hawaii State Department of Human Services' Limited English Proficiency program and is directly responsible for developing and implementing program initiatives to provide language access.
She was formerly Vice President of AXA Advisors in Hawaii.
Welcome aboard, Mary Ann! The Board has 21 members from all counties in the state.
