This detached hairbraid is the aftermath of my daughter Kai's new shortie hair style.
All those years of growing have resulted in a nice gift to the charity, Locks of Love, www.locksoflove.org, which provides hairpieces to children suffering from longterm hair loss.
I'd show you a photo of Kai's new "do," which looks great, but I don't like experiencing the role reversal of being lectured on sharing TMI!
