I toured some of the most luxurious hotel suites at the gracious Halekulani in Waikiki today. Gorgeous rooms, spectactular views. And yet, one of the images that stays in my mind is this toilet in the Orchid Suite that lifts its lid when you walk into the bathroom!
OK, I'm easily amused...
Our team was scouting Halekulani for an oceanview location to tape a "Long Story Short" episode next month. The guest will be a world champion who's going to be staying at the resort. More details to come as we firm up details.
